Happy New Year, and welcome 2025! We’re hoping it’s a great year for you. We are so grateful you are here with us, with a new year with new hope and new possibilities. And a new home for TIHAN!
Here are a few news flashes with important info, events, and opportunities for those of us who care so much. Please take a moment now and peruse!
TIHAN’s Office Has Moved – Note Our New Address
Thanks to a team of fabulous folks who made it happen, we are thrilled to be in our new quarters, sharing space on the campus of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, located at 1200 N Campbell Avenue (just north of Speedway Blvd). Our offices are in the Activity Building, which is the same building that now houses our Poz Café lunch and social program. Please make note of our new mailing address!
Map – Here’s How to Find Us
TIHAN’s offices are located on the southeastern corner of the campus of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, located at 1200 N Campbell Avenue. That’s our mailing address, and it’s the actual office of the church.
The entrance to the TIHAN offices is on the northwest corner of Helen Street and Norris Avenue. Parking spots are across the street as noted below on this map.
We’re still settling in and unpacking boxes and getting organized, but we’re excited to be in this great new space! Once we get fully settled in, we’ll schedule an official open house and ribbon cutting and a blessing of the space.
Thanks to the people of Our Saviour’s for their warm welcome to TIHAN!
Wish List for Our Offices
Here are a few things we’d love for our new space: picnic tables for our outdoor courtyard area, new office desk chairs, new or gently used office desks, a new metal shelving unit from Costco (size 48″ wide by 72″ high), new or slightly used 4-drawer file cabinets (vertical or horizontal) that lock and have two sets of keys), large computer monitor (24 in or larger), gift cards to Amazon and Office Depot for supplies, new desktop computers, and a new Ring video doorbell. We may realize there are more items to add to our wish list as we get settled. Before you donate any of these items, please contact Scott Blades (scott@tihan.org / 520-299-6647) for details about size and to make sure we still need them! Thanks for helping make our new space more attractive and effective!

Thanks to Those Who Helped Us Make The Move
It’s a major effort to pack and move an entire organization, with nine individual office areas! After 12 years in this location, we had accumulated lots of stuff! But we had a great team of folks helping with the packing, moving, and unpacking of our office, including volunteers Katherine, John, Regina, Jess, Liz, Marisa, Ethan, Brian, Tyler, Elias, Jess, and TIHAN staff members Scott, Gina, Susannah. And a huge thank you to McCoy Moving Services, Susan Friese, Paul, Kathy, Amity Foundation, and Pastor Amalia, Michele, and John of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church. Well done, team!
WOW! $20,000 in Matching Funds Received – Thanks to YOU and the Ralph L. Smith Legacy Fund
We are so grateful for your outpouring of donations to TIHAN in December. Your response to our end of year appeal letter and email was outstanding, and your response ensured that we met the challenge match presented by the Ralph L Smith Legacy Fund. Your donations were matched dollar-for-dollar, and we received an additional $20,000 from the Fund. What an incredible way to end the year—with fantastic holiday support for our CarePartners living with HIV, a great Poz Café holiday dinner party, a gift and two $25 gift cards for our CarePartners, and more. Thank you for what you make possible through your support of TIHAN!
